Recent News

I have since given up on reporting about the Super Bow, I only say...poop. But congrats to the Saints and the city of New Orleans. Moving on now to the XXI Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia. As to this point in the games, they've lived up to all my expectations.
Starting with where my Olympic coverage began, the snowboard cross. How awesome was that?!? I was a little dissapointed in the female portion, but the men did awesome. After watching the cross for a few days, I became convinced that I could race in the cross. Now I've come down, I still think I would like to try, I now think I would pee my pants racing like those guys did.

Shaun White; need I say more? I don't think so either. The double corks were awesome, but the 1260 McTwist was incredible! I didn't think he'd stick it until the last moment when he turned his hips and nailed it. I jumped, literally, in the air. That is something I could never, ever do.

Moving on to the other sports, more specifically speed skating. Both long track and short track speed skating were quite exciting. Apolo Anton Ohno did what we expected him to do. He won a couple of medals. Number two: Lindsey Vonn and Bode Miller. Nice work to them both. I understand that Vonn was supposed to win a few more medals, but you know what, she did an amazing job as it is. Speaking of Vonn, lets move to Julia Mancuso. What a nutter butter. Granted she skied like a champion and scored two silver medals, but lets face it, people want someone good looking to cheer for when it comes to sports that we only care about once in four years. Lindsey Vonn looks better than Julia Mancuso! Mancuso wears a tiara at the bottom of the hill and on the podium...can you say weird? Go Lindsey!

To conclude I'd like to saw one think...USA! USA! USA! Hockey rocks my socks! We beat Canada, the Swiss and Finland on our way to the gold medal game. I know I have nothing to do with the wins, but they play for me and my country, I can say "we!" At this point, we are guaranteed a medal, let's go for the gold! USA! USA! USA! Sorry Hurricane, you will go down Canada!

I believe I have ranted enough about stuff that not many people (if any) will read. God Bless America and the Olympics!
