March Madness!!!

It's that time of the year boys and girls! I, for one, am super excited. I love college basketball! I love the tournament! This is such a great game, and it leads to something even greater...the start of baseball season! March Madness leads to opening day, the dog days of summer and the the hunt for October.

I know I'm not unusual or unique when I say that I have already filled out three brackets. Two for one group and one for another. I like to keep my bracket count low, because I like to be able to say, "I picked that." and not have it just be a guess in one of my many brackets. I've picked Syracuse in two of them and BYU just cause I was picking with my heart and I could talk myself into picking them to win. I kept saying, "if they shoot like they can and stay on the ball on defense they can win this one!" I know that that is highly unlikely, but it makes me happy just thinking anything is possible. Besides, my boy Joe Lunardi has picked BYU to make it to the Elite Eight against Syracuse. They lose there, but that's oooookay with me!

I do like 'Cuse a lot though. I think they have a very good group of players who have learned to play together as one. When a veteran team can play as one, it is difficult to beat them. Especially with the talent level like the Orangemen have.
